Believers of Dreams

"So far away from knowing where I'm going and trying hard to find out who I am. They all say that I don't know what I'm doing, I say they don't hardly understand. Why can't they remember what I'll never forget how these dreams can come undone when you're young?" ~3 Doors Down~

It sucks, doesn't it? All that hard work you've done throughout the years just swept away by the wind of the non-believers. It's like no matter what you do, you just can't seem to please anyone. Strange how you seem to do everything right and exactly the way people want from you, and yet that isn't good enough. It's still your fault. They joke around with you and belittle you to break you down. But why? Why must you be the victim?

The answer is because you are different from the society you live in. It's not your fault that no one understands how you feel. Your mind and all of your daily thoughts are incomprehensible. That's just the way you are. One moment you want to be something, but research, inspiration, and fascination has told you otherwise. But no one believes in you regardless of it. And the worst of all is that no one plans to help you. They only give you a little push in the beginning because they want you to be what they set you out to be. What? That's not right at all. It's because the second you try to follow your dreams, your normal society feels as if you let everyone down and will continue destroying the life around you because "it's not what's best for you". But how would they know that? They don't live your life and think your thoughts.

Our beaten down society of the misguided and unheard need to set out in the world to be who we intend to be in the end. We need to show the unbelievers that we can (and will) be the best we can, even when they don't see it in us. We're alone but we must stand together.

Believe in each other,
Allison
